I have a Treo phone using windows mobile V5.0, OS5.1.195 (build 14929.2.2.1).

Treo is not listed as a compatible device. Is it a compatible device? Will it run a Vixen mount?

Users, is TheSky pocket edition a useful observing tool?

 

Make sure the device runs Windows Mobile, not Windows Mobile SmartPhone Edition. TheSky Pocket Edition supports the former, not the latter.

TheSky Pocket Edition can control LX200-compatible mounts (like the Vixen SkySensor 2000) and is a great graphical tool to use in the field.

Note that TheSky Pocket Edition does not support the Vixen Sphinx HTTP mount.
