Software Bisque Support Corner

I  received Sky 6 Pro yesterday and experienced difficulty loading on laptop.  All went well until 3rd CD. Kept getting the following message:

Feature: Compressed PGC and PLN Catalog Images

Component: Pictures – Compressed PGC and PLN Images

File: E:\data4.cab

Error: Data Error (cyclical Redundancy check)

Click OK

After clicking on Okay, I got the following:

"Uninstalling MSI modules"

 

The laptop then "locked up" and had to be re-booted.  I tried this several times but kept getting to the same point in the install with the same message.  I eventually installed with the DVD version with no problem.  Is there a problem with the CD version? Did I get a bad copy? Did I miss a "trick/trap"?

This is normally caused by bad (defective) media.
