Minimum System Requirements

Software

Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP.
At least 2MB free disk space is required for the AutomaDome software.
TheSkyX Professional Edition version 10.1.6 or later, or TheSky6 Professional Edition version 6.0.0.40 or later, or TheSky Version 5 Level IV, version 5.00.014 or later.

Hardware

AutomaDome-compatible dome hardware. Specifically, any robotic dome using a dome controller that has a dome driver specifically written to be used by AutomaDome.

Supported Dome Hardware

AutomaDome supports the following dome hardware.

Meridian Controls Dome Automation System.
Advanced Telescope Supplies Sirius ATS MaxDome System.
Any dome controller hardware that supports the Astronomy Command Language (ACL) protocol.

If your dome controller uses different hardware than listed above, AutomaDome has a dome controller "application programming interface" (called DomeAPI) that allows software device drivers to be written for unsupported dome control systems.
