This dialog box allows you to specify the parallel port addresses used by CCDSoft to communicate with parallel port CCD cameras (ST-7 and ST-8).
LPT1
Displays the base address for the first parallel port.
LPT2
Displays the base address for the second parallel port.
LPT3
Displays the base address for the third parallel port.
All base addresses are displayed in hexadecimal format.
Note: You should only make changes to the base address when you are certain that the parallel port address list is incorrect. To determine the actual base address for a parallel (LPT) port, read the following procedure for your operating system.
Windows 95
On the Task bar, click Start, then Settings, then the Control Panel command.
On the Control Panel window, double-click the System Folder.
From the System Folder, click the Device Manager tab.
Open ports, then select the appropriate LPT port.
Click the Properties button, then click the Resource tab and record the first listed base address.
Windows NT 4.0
On the Task bar, click Start, then Run.
Enter WINMSD.EXE, then click OK.
In the Windows Diagnostics window, click the Resource tab.
On the Resources tab, click the Devices button.
Select the Parport device.
Click the Properties button, and record the base address.
Windows NT 3.51
From Program Manager, click the run command from the File menu.
Enter WINMSD.EXE, then click OK.
On the Windows NT Diagnostics window, click the Ports/IRQ Status button.
On the Interrupts/Ports window, note the base address of the desired port.
