Extract Color Channels command (Image | Color menu)

Use this command to separate color image into its red, green, blue and/or luminance components. Individual images represent the 16-bit single-channel data used to create the color image.

Color extraction allows you to perform image processing on each color channel, and then recombine each color channel using the Color Combine command.

On color CCD cameras, color image data is only valid in 1x1 binning. All other bin modes will show black and white images.
