Welcome to the Seeker Information Site.
Seeker is a multi-platform (Macintosh OS X Universal and Windows XP/Vista) application that provides an immersive three dimensional simulation of our solar system. Experience simulated "space flight" and explore the Sun, planets, moons, comets, asteroids, interplanetary spacecraft and earth-orbiting satellites with stunning realism.*
Seeker takes off from where TheSky6 Astronomy Software ends. TheSky6 is principally earth-based astronomy software; Seeker is a solar system "spaceship-based" software. If you own TheSky, you'll love Seeker!

*Seeker's Software Design Considerations
Accuracy is important, but the focus is on presentation and immersion. The purpose of this simulator is education and entertainment, and not space flight planning!
Seeker is not a scientific tool or simulation product. Software Bisque has made great attempts to make the product as realistic and accurate as possible, but the primary goal is an interactive exploration of the solar system. The default flight mode is "arcade"... this would be a simulation if you could launch a spaceship and travel anywhere within our solar system at light speed (or any speed).
Seeker runs well on a 1.5 GHz machine, with 64 megabytes of graphics memory on the graphic card, and AGP texturing. “Run well” is defined as consistently at or above 30 frames per second (fps) at 800x600 resolution with 32-bit color.
Seeker requires OpenGL 2.0 and supports the new OpenGL Shading Language. The advanced detailed and realistic graphics that can be produced by today’s hardware isn’t just for games anymore!
