Use this dialog box to specify the properties of an image in an image group.
Cross Reference
Enter the catalog name and number for the object. For example, if the new image is of NGC 1976, enter Great Nebula in Orion or NGC 1976 or M 42.
Enter If Known Group
This group contains options to set the scale and position angle for the new image.
Scale
Enter the scale of the image, in arcseconds per pixel, of the image. If you do not know the image scale, enter 2 for the default value.
Position Angle
Enter the position angle of the image.
Field of View Visibility (Degrees) Group
This group contains options for setting the minimum and maximum field of view that the image is displayed.
Minimum
Enter the smallest field of view, in degrees, that the image is displayed on the Virtual Sky. You'll want to enter a value the approximately matches the maximum width of the image to avoid a blocky or "pixellized" picture at small fields.
Maximum
Enter the largest field of view, in degrees, that the image is displayed.
Select Picture File and Close
Click this button to display the Open dialog box. Select the file name of the picture you wish to add to this group.
