Using the Right Mouse Button (Right Click)

Clicking the "right" mouse button can be used to show a "pop up" menu and access "context-sensitive" commands that relate to the object or screen element that is under the mouse cursor.

 

The table below shows example pop up menus in TheSky6.

If there are no objects (Reference Lines, Object Symbols, Field of View Indicators, or other) under the mouse cursor, the default pop up menu is displayed. This menu has the following commands:

If the mouse is currently over a Reference Line, the reference line is selected (that is, the line is outlined by a yellow line, see figure at the left). In addition to the default pop up menu commands, the context menu contains Reference Line specific commands.

If the mouse is currently over an object symbol (such as a star), the star-specific commands are displayed.
