TheSky6 Help |
Use this command to create a list of pictures to view in succession. The Create Slide Show List dialog box allows you to navigate to any drive on your computer and add files to the Slide Show List.

Slide Show List
Files listed in this window comprise the Slide Show List. Note: you must click Add to add files to the slide show list.
To add files to the Slide Show List
Navigate to the folder where the picture files reside. You can build Slide Show Lists that contain pictures from any drive or folder on your system.
From list of files, select the pictures you want to display.
Click the Add button to copy the selected files to the Slide Show List. If no items are selected in the File Name List box, all valid files are added.
Click Tools | Slide Show.
Navigate to a folder that contains files of supported picture formats (TIF, GIF, JPG, BMP, and others). TheSky6's pictures are located in the folder "C:\Program Files\Software Bisque\TheSky6\Data\Pictures" by default. The default Files of Type is "Compuserve GIF (*.gif)". To view files of other supported picture formats, select "All Files" from the Files of Type list.
Select one or more photographs to show in the Slide Show, and then click Add. The Slide Show List displays a list of the selected pictures in the current Slide Show. You can navigate to different folders to add more pictures to the Slide Show List. Click Remove to remove all or the selected pictures. Click the Options button to set the Slide Show options.
When the list of pictures is complete, click OK.
TheSky6's Slide Show window displays the first picture in the list. Click the "right pointing arrow button" to view the next picture in the list, or the "left pointing arrow button" to view the previous photo in the list. If you've selected the "Automatic Advance" option in the Slide Show Options dialog, then pictures are displayed automatically, for the number of seconds specified in the "Seconds the image is displayed" text box on the Slide Show Options dialog box.
Remove
Clears the selected files from the Slide Show List. If no files are selected, clicking the Remove button empties the Slide Show List.
Options
The Slide Show Options dialog box allows you to select the Automatic Browse option to automatically display each picture in the Slide Show List. Enter the amount of time, in seconds, that each image is displayed during the slide show. If you do not select the Automatic Browse options, you must manually click the Forward or Backward command in the Slide Show submenu to view each picture.
