Daytime Sky Mode command (View menu)

Use this command to simulate how the sky looks in the daytime. Instead of the normal dark background during the daylight hours, the sky is light blue and only the brightest objects, like the sun and moon, are visible.

This mode simulates sunrise and sunsets as well. For example, set the time to late afternoon and set a 30 second time skip interval and click the Go Forward command. As dusk approaches, the sky changes from light blue to darker shades of blue. As the sun slips behind the horizon, a spectacular sunset follows. Finally, the splendor of the dark night sky is revealed with all the bright stars.
