TheSky6 Professional Edition and Serious Astronomer Edition Only

The following options allow you to configure the legend, set margins, and size an optional selected area on the printed document.
Title
Enter a title that will appear at the top of the printed page. This is commonly used to describe the contents of the Sky Chart.
Format
Choose one of the available chart formats. Some properties of the chart may be automatically adjusted to match the selected format.

List of Objects |
Shows a list of all the currently selected display properties. |
Legend
Choose No Legend, Small Legend or Detailed. The legend identifies each of the object symbols used on the Sky Chart.
Legend Height
Set the height of the legend in inches. A short legend may not permit all displayed object types to be identified. This option is only applicable when the Standard chart format.
Print As
If a Selected Area of the Sky Display has been defined, there are several ways the printed page can represent this. Choose one of three options:

Show Inset Origin
When this option is toggled on, corner lines will indicate the origin of the Selected Area within the wider field Sky Chart.
Margins (inches)
Top
Defines the size of the page's top margin in inches.
Bottom
Defines the size of the page's bottom margin in inches.
Left
Defines the size of the page's left margin in inches.
Right
Defines the size of the page's right margin in inches.
Sky Chart Prefixes
Allows you to specify a six character prefix for the an object type. These characters will appear to the left of an object’s catalog number on a printed star chart.
SAO
Enter the prefix for the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory Catalog of stars.
NGC
Enter the prefix for the New Guide Catalog of deep sky objects.
IC
Enter the prefix for the Index Catalog of deep sky objects.
UGC
Enter the prefix for the Uppsala Galaxy Catalog of galaxies.
CGCG
Enter the prefix for the Catalog of Galaxies and Clusters of Galaxies.
GCVS
Enter the prefix for the General Catalog of Variable Stars.
Featured Object Information
Allows you to enter text that will appear in the legend of a Featured Object Sky Chart. By default, this control contains the object information from the last object that was identified and centered; however, you can enter any text here.
