Status Bar Window

The Status Bar is a small window that is displayed at the bottom of the Virtual Sky. This window shows useful information, and status of the screen, such as a short description of menu commands and the current coordinates of the mouse cursor.  See the Status Bar dialog box for details about setting options.

The left portion of the Status Bar displays descriptions of commands as you to navigate through menus. This area also shows descriptions of toolbar buttons when the mouse pointer is placed over a button. If after viewing the description of the toolbar button command you wish not to execute the command, then release the mouse button while the pointer is off the toolbar button.
