Mark the options in the Status Bar dialog box to show information in the Status Bar window. Since the width of the Status Bar window is limited (based on your current video settings), some options may dimmed. You'll want to show only the
Visible
Shows/hides the Status Bar window.
Screen Position Group
Equatorial
Displays the right ascension and declination of the center of the screen.
Horizon
Displays the altitude and azimuth of the center of the screen.
Cursor Position Group
Equatorial
Displays the right ascension and declination of the mouse cursor.
Horizon
Displays the altitude and azimuth of the center of the mouse cursor.
Other Options Group
This group contains miscellaneous
Earth Location
Shows the text description of your location on earth as entered using the Location command.
Local Sidereal Time
Displays the local sidereal time (LST).
Field Width
Displays the current field width (also referred to as the field of view).
Telescope Position
Displays the telescope’s current right ascension and declination when you are linked to a computer-aided telescope.
Date
Displays TheSky’s date, that is the date as entered using the Location command. The date displayed in the Status Bar can differ from the Site Information date if you have performed a time skip. This is not necessarily today’s date.
Time
Displays TheSky’s time, that is the time as entered using the Location command. The time displayed in the Status Bar can differ from the Site Information time if you have performed a time skip.
