How can I download Seeker Version 1.1? A. Seeker Version 1.1 is available for download from the Software Bisque web site.
Here's how:
1. Visit the Software Bisque Support Corner (SBSC) web page.
2. If you have not already done so, click the Join link in the upper right corner of the window and enter the required sign-in information to join the Software Bisque Support Corner.
3. Once you've joined the SBSC, click Sign In link to sign in. You must be signed in to download files from Software Bisque.
4. Click on the Downloads tab.
5. Click the Download Free Updates link.
6. Scroll down to the Seeker Version 1 for Mac Free Update.
7. Click on the Updater for Seeker for Mac 1.0.0 or later to version 1.1.620 (Mac OS X) or the Updater for Seeker for Windows 1.0.0.0 or later to version 1.1.0.620 link.
What is Seeker? A. Seeker is an immersive three-dimensional solar system simulation that runs natively on Mac OS X (Universal), Windows Vista and XP. Experience simulated "space flight" to travel to, and view the Sun, Moon, planets, comets, asteroids, and satellites with stunning realism.

Does Seeker integrate with TheSky6? A. Yes. The latest version of TheSky6 allows you to display three-dimensional views of solar system objects using Seeker as the display "engine."
Is Seeker available for Mac OS X? A. Yes. Seeker for Mac OS X was released on January 8, 2007 at MacWorld. Seeker is a multiple-platform application that runs natively on Mac OS X and Windows XP/Vista.

Is Seeker a "universal" Mac OS X application? A. Yes. Seeker for Mac is compatible with Macintosh computers that use either the Intel or PowerPC processor.

Is TheSky required to run Seeker? A. No. TheSky and Seeker are different applications with different capabilities. Whereas TheSky6 is more or less focused on "Earth-based" astronomy, Seeker is three dimensional "space-based" planetarium software. Seeker compliments TheSky6's feature set.
How can I determine what version of OpenGL is installed on my computer? A. If you own a Mac, then Open GL 2.0 is already installed (OS X version 10.4 and later). If you use a PC running Windows: Visit the Seeker OpenGL Compatibility Test page and click on the "Test Your Video Hardware and OpenGL Version" link at the top of the page to find out.
Does Seeker come with a printed manual? A. Yes. See the Seeker User's Manual page for more information.
What is the resolution of the Earth, Moon and Mars displayed in Seeker? A. At the equator, the Earth map equals 1.2 km/pixel. Mars is 0.65 km/pixel. The Moon's resolution is 0.82 km/pixel.
