Comets and Minor Planets command (Data menu)

Use this command to add, edit and display comets and minor planets.

Before the position of comet or minor planet can be computed, its current orbital element information must be entered.  This information changes frequently, and can be updated from the world wide web.

Click Add to enter this information about a new object, or click Edit to change and existing object’s data. When the check box next to the object’s name is checked, this object will be visible on the Virtual Sky.
