Page Setup command (File menu)

TheSky6 Professional Edition and Serious Astronomer Edition Only

Use this command to configure the legend, set margins, and size an optional selected area on the printed document. This command presents a Page Setup dialog box, where you specify the legend, margin, and selected area settings.

Printing different types of star charts

There are four printed output formats available in TheSky. The Standard format prints the current Sky Display. Featured Object format allows you to include additional information about a particular object on the Sky Chart. This information is displayed in the legend.

The AAVSO format automatically formats the printed chart according to the American Association of Variable Star Observers standards. The List of Objects format prints a page that shows all of your currently selected display properties, including fonts, pen and line styles and symbols.

Note: When the List of Objects format is selected, the Print Preview command will display a list of the current display properties, not the current star chart.
