Sky Database (SDB)

A file used by TheSky6 to display a database of celestial objects.

Sky Databases are generally used to display small, obscure catalogs of celestial objects that are not part of TheSky's core databases (for example, the NexStar Alignment Stars, or the Palomar Globular Clusters).

A Sky Database can be generated from any ASCII text file using the Import command and activated or deactivated using the Sky Database Manager command.
