The options in this dialog box allow you filter on and off the different celestial object types and specify an upper and lower magnitude limit for each object type that is displayed.
Object Type
Displays the currently selected object type.
Visible
Mark this option to display the selected object type. Clear it to hide this object type.
Magnitude Limits
You can specify an upper and lower limiting magnitude for each object type. For example, if you wish to see all stars between magnitude 4 and 5, first select the object type star then enter 4 in the Brightest text box and 5 in the Faintest text box.
Brightest
Enter the upper magnitude limit to be displayed. Objects with a magnitude lower than this number (brighter objects) are not displayed.
Faintest
Enter the lower magnitude limit to be displayed. Objects with a magnitude higher than this number (fainter objects) are not displayed.
Font
Click this button to edit the Font for the selected object. A sample of the selected font is displayed to the right of the Font button.
Fill
Click this button to edit the fill color for the selected object. A sample of the selected fill color is displayed to the right of the Fillbutton.
Line
Click this button to edit the line style for the selected object. A sample of the selected line is displayed to the right of the Linebutton.
Symbol
Click this button to edit the symbol for the selected object. A sample of the current symbol is displayed to the right of the Symbol button.
Apply
Applies the display properties to the Virtual Sky without exiting this dialog box.
