The Paramount Software Suite that is shipped with every Paramount has always come with macOS and Windows versions of TheSkyX Professional Edition, not to mention the Camera Add On, the Multi-OS and Six License Add On, and the TPoint Add On.
Beginning in March, the Paramount Software Suite thumb drive will also include TheSkyX Pro for Linux and TheSkyX Pro for Raspbian (for Raspberry Pi computers).
This means Paramount owners get native, out-of-the-box support to control their mount, camera, focuser, filter wheel, rotator, AO device, and dome*.
The Paramount Software Suite represents a significant milestone for Software Bisque in our quest to provide you with cross-platform, integrated, scriptable astronomy and observatory control software. You now have even more freedom to choose the operating system you want to use in your observatory, remote site, or research program.
More good news: If you already own a Paramount mount, and, provided your Multi-OS and Six License Add On subscription is current, or have a current Universal Subscription, you can download TheSkyX Pro for Linux and TheSkyX Pro for Raspbian now.
*The Paramount ME II and Paramount Taurus mounts, only, include the Dome Add On.
