Are there now any updates for my SkyX first light edition 10.0.02. And also the program came with my Celestron scope and I don't see a sn# on the disk, is this normal?

Yes, the free copy of TheSkyX First Light Edition that is distributed by third-party telescope manufacturers includes a "generic" serial number that cannot be registered.

I've also just installed SkyX first light edition 10.2.02, obtained with a Celestron telescope.  Does this mean without a serial number I can't update the software (as the link posted won't allow downloading without registration)?

Update, update! Not upgrade! We want to update to the latest version -- how can we do that when the link you posted won't let us download without registering a serial number, and our serial number can't be registered? We already paid for the software as part of the scope price.

Hello, I'm trying to update my copy of TheSkyX First Light as well.  I tried to register the serial # on the registration page and it's kicking back an 'already registered' error.  I just purchased a Celestron Astromaster for my son and it came with the disk for this program; I'm unable to enter the location without the program crashing and I figured the first step would be to ensure I had the latest copy of the software.
