Good morning,

During the aquire pointing samples the picture is taken but there is an error message saying "the file or fofder does not exit error 709" on all targets.

Also when using the function "Take and image link photo" in Automated pointing calibration Run I have got as well the error message.

For info when using Find Astrometric Solution from the camera menu we take and save manually the picture then we can poceed to get the astrometric solution.

Do you have any idea where could be the problem?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Stephane

  1. What is the exact version and build of TheSkyX?
  2. What is the exact full path name of the AutoSave folder?
  3. What language is the OS configured to use?

Hello,

I have the same problem but it appeared suddenly.

If I try to open images (in Image Link) or if I try to send an image to Image Link, I get the error : "The file or folder doesn't exist : Error = 709"

Everything was working perfectly and I now I can't solve my images.

I have the last build of TSX (11360) but the problem started with build 10530.

the path of my autosave folder is D:\TSX-autosave and my OS (Win10 pro 64bit build 1709)  is in french.

It works with images taken in January but not with images taken in february (but once again, yesterday everything was OK)

Thank you for your help,

Best regards,

Alexandre

Hello,

I have found out what was going on...

The problem comes from the french version of windows, it's the "é" of "février" which is guilty !

I have unchecked the "create date-based subfolder" in the autosave setup tab and it worked...

Maybe it will help someone else ;)

Best regards,

Alexandre

See this related thread for a plausible explanation.

What is the exact name of the autosave folder?

Thank you.
