Hello,

I have a 20'' telescope, the weight is about 60kg (actually I have a Paramout ME and works well), so for the weight I think I can use a Taurus Model 400 OAE but the outer diameter is bigger than the the 22'' I read in the manual, is there any way to put bigger telescopes in the Model 400?

Thanks

What is the outer diameter of your OTA?  There is a bit of wiggle room between the forks and the 400 might be able to accommodate a slightly wider OTA, but if the diameter is too wide, then the Model 500 would be recommended.

I don't have here the exact dimensions but it's between 24'' and 26'', oblivious the problem is the priced of the Model 500, with a lot of effort I can think on a model 400 but the 500 is out of my possibilities.

Thanks you!
