RESOLUTION

Software Bisque is working on the next generation of TheSky, called "TheSkyX" (as well as it's other astronomy products: CCDSoft, TPoint, Orchestrate, PrecisionPEC and AutomaDome) that can be run under natively Linux, Macintosh OS X, and Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Mobile and other operating systems. 

We appreciate your patience while we complete this significant rewrite to develop this exciting new technology for the amateur astronomy community.

When more information is available, Software Bisque will post it on our web site, in print advertising, and on the Software Bisque Support Corner.

Shipping Products

• TheSkyX Student Edition for Mac OS X was released on January 15, 2008 at MacWorld.
• TheSkyX Student Edition for Windows was released on March 18, 2008.
• TheSkyX Theater Edition for Mac OS X and Windows was released August 14, 2008.
• TheSkyX Serious Astronomer Edition for Mac was initially released at MacWorld on January 7, 2009, then re-released on May 7, 2009 (after making improvements suggested by the Mac community).
• TheSkyX Serious Astronomer Edition for Windows was released on May 7, 2009.

Here's the tentative release schedule for the remaining TheSkyX Editions (subject to change without notice):

• TheSkyX for Windows Mobile OS: no scheduled release date (work in progress).
• TheSkyX Professional Edition for Linux?  We hope to ship TheSkyX Professional Edition for Linux some time after releasing the Mac and Windows versions.

TPoint

• TPoint Telescope Pointing Analysis Software for Mac at MacWorld 2009. (TPoint is an optional "add on" to TheSkyX Serious Astronomer Edition).
• TPoint Telescope Pointing Analysis Software for Windows on May 7, 2009. (TPoint is an optional "add on" to TheSkyX Serious Astronomer Edition).

AutomaDome, CCDSoft and PrecisionPEC Software Add Ons to TheSkyX Professional Edition

• No release date at this time.  Work in progress.
