I currently am using The Sky version 4 which is running on XP. I'm thinking of upgrading so that I can run on Vista and Windows7. Will V4 run on those? What do you recommend that I purchase?

Mostly I just look at the sky, sometimes using binoculars or telescope if it's readily available.

I noticed that in addition to the cost of the software, I must also pay $15/yr. What's that for? Can I purchase the software without this on-going expense?
