I want to upgrade to TheSkyX Serious .The software I have is "The Sky version 5" there is NO where I can find the Serial number and I still have the origenal CD's and covers .The only thing they tell me is"Document version: 1.00.500" and that is a invalid Serial number accordig to your web-site.What can I do??????

If there is no serial number included with the product, then, most likely, this version came as part of a telescope purchase.  Versions of TheSky that are distributed by third-party telescope manufacturers do not include a serial number.

That said, you are eligible to upgrade to TheSkyX Serious Astronomer Edition.  See TheSkyX Seroius Astronomer Edition Upgrade Eligibility page for details.

Though we still need a valid serial # for this upgrade, which we don't have. To, I can't open the files on the cd-rom due to incompatibility in order to find a number. The are some numbers on the back of the cd around the spindle hole, but I haven't been successful with those.
