Is VAT included in the list-price?

I would like to purchase one copy of the software called TheSky6 and understood (based another message) that the shipping cost to Europe is roughly US$25.

But I could not find any info regarding US VAT content of these products. I will need to pay local VAT on top of the net price and shipping cost and custom fee in Hungary, it is clear. But I do not want to pay VAT twice.

So, is the price of this software (TheSky6 $279) net or gross?
