Daniel,
I think I am making some progress here. I followed your directions. First, I am pretty sure the computer can connect through Com 7 but I will have to check further. Second, I had selected Meade LX200 non GPS from the drop down "Settings" menue on SKY6 as the only Meade OPTION closest to my telescope.....ACTUALLY, I should have selected "AutoStar by Meade" as you said.....which is much further up the Menue. It is listed APHEBETICALLY.....I originally looked under Meade.....figuring that I should have found "Meade Autostar" under M for Meade but it actually appears under A for Autostar....Third, As I went through the process you suggested, I noticed that a message came up on SKY6 to "train the telescope". I seems as though I have to first "train the telescope" before I can establish a link. I started to suspect this as I read and re-read the instructions in SKY6. I have to do this on my day off. Meade's instruction book tells me to do this during the daylight hours and use a Terrestrial Target. My horizon is limited in my back yard.....so I'll have to figure out a spot which has a Longer Horizon and a place where I can get power supplied to my Telescope and Computer. I'll post again in about a week as I make progress and as I start to solve these problems. I don't want to take up any more time as I absolutely have to and if I have problems, I want to be very SPECIFIC and TO THE POINT in my post. Thanks again Jerry
