HOW TO CONFIGURE @FOCUS2 TO NOT REQUIRE DARK FRAMES

    ISSUE

@Focus2 requires the use of dark frames to determine optimal focus, however, some cameras are not capable of taking dark frames.

    RESOLUTION

The attached registry file "AtFocus2DarksOff.reg" will configure @Focus2 so that it will not require dark frames.  It should only be used when absolutely necessary.

The file "AtFocus2DarksOn.reg" will cause @Focus2 to use dark frames and return to default behavior.

Save the attached file to your hard drive, unzip it, then double click on the desired file from the Windows explorer to invoke its setting.  The setting will take effect immediately, CCDSoft does not need to be restarted.

    APPLIES TO

    CCDSoft Version 5.00.192 or later.
