I am working with someone that uses Sky 6 to run thier automated observatory. I would like to buy and register a copy of Sky 6, I have a copy of Sky X student, however there are no plans to upgrade the obs control system to Sky X at this point. Thanks for a reply, Bill Barnard

I have asked this before but lost the answer. Meaning of Error Code 201(C9) when connecting Sky 6 PRO to LX200R ?? Running WinXP Pro. I have connected many times without a problem. I would love to upgrade to SKYX Pro but retired several years ago and can't afford the upgrade cost. Starman Paul

TheSky6 Pro will run under Windows 7. Caveats: Run TheSky6 Pro as an Administrator (once) so that is can register "stuff". Right-click and then click Run As Administrator to do so. TheSky6's Night Vision Mode does not play well with Windows 7. Related threads: Night Vision Mode Themepack...

I have been doing runs with the SKY 6 Pro and have found that certain objects in the star catalogues provided with the SKY 6 are not present. How do I ugrade the star catalogues to give me more star data. Currently I notice that it is using USNO 1, 2 and 3.
