Important Note
I have been waiting a couple of years for this update for the Mac. I was not happy with the PC version of Meade control software. I saw the Bisque Brothers on a PBS show, "Seeing in the Dark". Installation went well. Features are very impressive compared to other software. Photo gallery is wonderful. I have seen professional astronomers use PC versions of the software at the University of Colorado's Sommers-Bausch Observatory. The users gave the software high marks. I understand now why professional astronomers like this package. There is an optional yearly subscription fee of $75. Other packages don't require this for updates, so I will need some time to decide. I will test telescope control as soon as the weather clears and report back. Can't wait to see if my scope can track the ISS (Space station) with their software. So far, so good. The Bisque brothers are wonderful people to deal with. I would like to see iPhone apps for their software, because their software is one of the best and most of the other astronomical programs are going into that market. I am interested in controlling a remote observatory from my den for the future. This program looks like it can do the trick.
