Virtual Telescope Project Uses Paramount to Capture Fast Moving Near-Earth Asteroid
With the help of a Paramount mount, the Virtual Telescope Project captured this photo of NEO YF98B10, a fast-moving asteroid that passed a mere 65,000 km (40,400 miles) from Earth. The Mt. Lemmon Survey posted discovery of this object on March 20, 2017.

MDW Sky Survey Gets APOD
The on-going MDW Hydrogen-Alpha Sky Survey project employs dual Paramount MX+ mounts to acquire high-resolution images of the entire sky in H-alpha light. Today's APOD features a sample 10-degree mosaic from the survey, near the Andromeda Galaxy.

Astronomical Tag Team Discovers Fluffy Galaxies
The Dragonfly system consists of ten telephoto lenses perched atop a Paramount ME II Robotic Telescope Mount and studies ultra-low surface brightness objects. The University of Toronto and Yale University team that devised Dragonfly recently discovered a new class of galaxy, forty-seven of them in the Coma Cluster alone. Follow up observations on one of these objects, named Dragonfly 44, using the 10-meter Keck telescope have confirmed that very "sparse star" or "fluffy" galaxies really do exist.
