** Software runs "mostly okay." Performance is not optimal with this hardware, but many tours are smooth and interactivity is usually acceptable. Everything "works," but animations may have considerable lag.

The OpenGL requirements for Seeker are more advanced than for TheSkyX. It follows that any video hardware capable of running Seeker will be able to run TheSkyX, however the reverse is not true.

*Seeker and Windows Vista
|
|
|
Seeker will not run under Windows Vista until a video driver that supports OpenGL 2.0 or later has been installed. The Microsoft-specific video drivers distributed with the out of the box version of Windows Vista support OpenGL 1.1 and not OpenGL 2.0 or later. You must install an OpenGL 2.0-compatible video driver from the video hardware manufacturer first (visit the video hardware manufacturer's web page and look for the "Download Drivers" link). Search Windows Vista Help for the text "manually update drivers" for details about installing video drivers.

Important Seeker Vista Compatibility Notes
- Not all video hardware has Vista-compatible drivers that also support OpenGL 2.0 or later which is required by Seeker. Check with the video hardware manufacturer to find out if your video card is supported under Windows Vista and supports OpenGL 2.0.
- If your video card does not have a Windows Vista driver that supports OpenGL 2.0, then youll need to purchase Vista-ready video hardware.
- Some computer manufacturers (OEMs) distribute Window Vista with OpenGL 2.0 compatible video hardware and software drivers. Seeker will run on these machines, although you should still always install the latest video drivers on your computer.
