Minimum System Requirements

In order to run TheSky Pocket Edition, you need the following:

A Windows Mobile device, Palm-size PC or Handheld PC with one of the following operating systems:
- Windows Mobile 5.0 (SmartPhone Edition is not supported)
- Windows Mobile 6.0 (SmartPhone Edition is not supported)

Earlier Windows CE OS versions that are also supported:

Microsoft Windows CE version 3 for the Pocket PC.

Microsoft Windows CE version 2.11 for the Palm-size PC.

Microsoft Windows CE Handheld PC Professional Edition software for the Handheld PC.

Microsoft Windows CE 2000 for the Handheld PC.

Microsoft Windows CE version 3 Pocket PC 2002.

Windows Mobile Device running Windows Pocket PC 2002 OS

Microsoft Pocket PC (Version 4.20 and later)

Windows Mobile 2003 (Phone Edition is not supported)

Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition (Version 4.21 and later, SmartPhone Edition is not supported)

4 MB free RAM required on the Windows Mobile Device.
A personal computer running Windows XP or Vista.
A computer with access to the Internet (for ftp download of the setup file) and 5-20 MB free disk space.

Notes

To determine the operating system version of your mobile device, tap Start | Settings | System. On the System Properties window, tap the General tab. The operating system version is listed under System. If your Palm-size or Handheld PC has an earlier version of the Windows Mobile operating system, contact the manufacturer of the device to obtain an update to the latest version. This typically requires updating the physical hardware of the device.
TheSky Pocket Edition does not support the Windows Mobile Phone or SmartPhone Edition OS.
TheSky for Windows is required to update comet and minor planet orbital elements, as well as modify TheSky Pocket Edition preferences.
