While at its best viewing time for 1998, Mercury will appear near Mars and Saturn during
the second half of March. They are joined by a thin crescent Moon on the evenings of
March 28th and 29th. (Shown about half an hour after sunset each evening, at one-day
intervals.)

The crescent Moon and Venus will appear next to each other on the morning of March 24th.
(Shown at 5:12 am, or about 45 minutes before sunrise.)
