The October Draconid Meteor Shower peaks October 8th-9th.  While normally a very minor shower, there's a chance that this year's display will be more active than usual, as the Earth is relatively close to the shower's parent comet, Giacobini-Zinner.
(Shown about a 90 minutes after Sunset—and an hour before Moonrise—on October 8th.)
