The two largest planets in our Solar SystemJupiter and Saturnand the two
planets closest to our SunMercury and Venuscan be seen in a cosmic dance over
the next two weeks.
(Shown about 30 minutes after Sunset at two-day intervals; numbers indicate day of the
month.)

Perhaps the best view will be on the evening of March 8th, when Jupiter and Mercury will appear
side-by-side...

...yet actually be almost 500 million miles apart!
