The waning crescent Moon, the planet Venus and the bright star Regulus (in the
constellation Leo the Lion) will form a beautiful triangle in the morning sky on October
5th.
(Shown an hour before sunrise for mid-Northern latitudes.)

Next week, the waxing crescent Moon will appear to pass by the planets Mercury and Mars in
the evening sky.
(Shown half an hour after sunset for mid-Northern latitudes.)
