The Waxing Crescent Moon will appear near Mars on the 8th, Jupiter on the 10th, and Saturn on the 11th.  These three planets—the fourth, fifth and sixth from the Sun—can also be seen to move closer together over the course of February.  Since Mars is closer to Earth, it appears to move the fastest, Jupiter somewhat slower, and Saturn—the farthest of the three—appears slowest of all.
(Shown after evening twilight for mid-Northern latitudes.)
