The Waxing Crescent Moon will appear near Mars on the 8th, Jupiter on the 10th, and Saturn
on the 11th. These three planetsthe fourth, fifth and sixth from the
Suncan also be seen to move closer together over the course of February. Since
Mars is closer to Earth, it appears to move the fastest, Jupiter somewhat slower, and
Saturnthe farthest of the threeappears slowest of all.
