The Waxing Crescent Moon will
approach the giant planets Saturn and Jupiter this week, appearing next to each
on the evenings of March 28th and 29th, respectively. The separation
between these two bright planets in our skies is slowly increasing, growing from
9.5° at the beginning of the week, to 10° by its end.
(Shown about 45 minutes after sunset for mid-Northern latitudes.)
