The planet Venus returns to the evening sky next week, joined by the
just-past-New Moon. Over the following week, the Waxing Crescent Moon will
appear near the planets Mars, Saturn and finally Jupiter, by which time the Moon
will be at First Quarter phase.
(Shown about an hour after sunset for mid-Northern latitudes. Positions
for Venus and Mars are shown at three-day intervals.)
