Scheduled air date: 2003 Mar 03-09

On the evening of March 8th, the Waxing Crescent Moon appears near the Pleiades
open star cluster—also known as the Seven Sisters. On the 9th the Moon
will appear between the Pleiades and the bright star Aldebaran. And on the
10th, the First-Quarter Moon appears next to the ringed planet Saturn.
Saturn is still making its best appearance in nearly 30 years, with its rings at
their maximum tilt as seen from Earth (inset).
(Shown around 7:15 PM March 5-10 for mid-Northern latitudes.)
