The Moon appears near three planets in the evening skies of the last week of
this month. On the evening of the 23rd, the Waxing Crescent Moon appears
near the brilliant planet Venus; on the 25th, it appears near the red planet
Mars...
(Shown about an hour after sunset for mid-Northern latitudes.)

...and on the nights of the 29th and 30th, the Waxing Gibbous Moon appears near
the ringed planet Saturn..
