The Waxing Crescent Moon appears near the Pleaides open star cluster on the night of April 21st, the brilliant planet Venus on the 22nd, the red planet Mars on the 23rd and the ringed planet Saturn on the 24th.  Several nights later the Waxing Gibbous Moon appears near the star Regulus on the 28th and the giant planet Jupiter on the 29th.
