The two "Dog Stars," Sirius and Procyon, can be seen to follow the constellation
Orion—the hunter—across the night sky.
(Shown around 8:30 PM this week for mid-northern latitudes.)

Both of these stars are more than twice the diameter of our Sun and have a
companion white dwarf star less than twice the diameter of our Earth.
