The Full Moon of February 1st appears about 11 degrees above the ringed planet
Saturn. On the next night, the just-past Full Moon is only about 1 degree from
the planet.

During the last few days of January and first week of February, the closest
planets to our Sun—Mercury and Venus—appear as "evening stars" shortly after
sunset in the west.
