TheSky/AAVSO/

Star Charts (Version  5 or 6)

Because the AAVSO does not use magnitudes and/or positions from the GSC data, Hipparcos/Tycho, USNO-B, UCAC2 data any TheSky user can simply click on a star and add the "accepted" AAVSO magnitudes for the comparison stars.  These labels can then be saved for use later by saving the document with the added data or even compiled into an SDB file. Note, if you have access to the AAVSO data you can easily incorporate it into TheSky using the Database Compiler. At this point in time I have not been able to obtain the AAVSO's stellar database of reference stars.
