Seeker and TheSkyX always perform best with newer video cards. The following chart contains a list of specific graphics hardware that has been tested and recommended for use with Seeker and or TheSkyX. |

** Software runs “mostly okay.” Performance is not optimal with this hardware, but many tours are smooth and interactivity is usually acceptable. Everything “works”, but animations may have considerable lag. |
The OpenGL requirements for Seeker are more advanced than for TheSkyX. It follows that any video hardware capable of running Seeker will be able to run TheSkyX, however the reverse is not true. |
Seeker will not run under Windows Vista until a video driver that supports OpenGL 2.0 or later has been installed. The Microsoft-specific video drivers distributed with the “out of the box” version of Windows Vista support OpenGL 1.1 and not OpenGL 2.0 or later. You must install an OpenGL 2.0-compatible video driver from the video hardware manufacturer first (visit the video hardware manufacturer's web page and look for the “Download Drivers” link). Search Windows Vista Help for the text “manually update drivers” for details about installing video drivers. |
