MKS 6000 Upgrade Installation Getting Started

To get started installing the MKS 6000 Upgrade Kit and using the MKS 6000 control system:

Step 1: Install TheSky with MKS 6000 support.

Step 2: Read the MKS 6000 Upgrade Kit Supplemental Instructions PDF.

Step 3: Watch the MKS 6000 upgrade video.

Step 4: Read the Paramount Series 6 User Guide.

Tools Required

Step 1: Install TheSky with MKS 6000 Support

TheSky build 13811 or later is required to connect to an MKS 6000. This build is available as the latest daily build (i.e. install the latest daily build). Warning, earlier builds of TheSky can connect to a MKS 6000, but will not work properly. Be sure to use the build or later noted immediately above!

TheSky Professional update installer (click My account, My Subscriptions to download the latest update)

Updates to TheSky Professional with MKS 6000 support are available for macOS, Linux (ARM64, x86_64), Windows, and TheSky Fusion.
