THESKY INCORRECTLY SHOWS MAGNITUDE 30 FOR SOME OBJECTS

      ISSUE

TheSky6’s Object Information displays magnitude 30 for some object, such as NGC224 and IC2118.

      RESOLUTION

TheSky6 uses information from standard astronomical databases to display magnitude information. If a catalog or database does not contain magnitude information for a given object, TheSky6, by default, assignes magnitude 30 to the object. For the above objects, the NGC/IC Project catalog does not have magnitude information for these objects.

      APPLIES TO

TheSky6, all Editions, TheSky version 5, all Levels.
