      INSTALLSHIELD UNABLE TO LOAD SETUP.INS

      ISSUE

      While attempting to install the application (e.g. TheSky v5 for Windows), error message displayed:

      “Setup is unable to load script file SETUP.INS. The script file was created with an older version of InstallShield.”

      RESOLUTION

      Try copying the contents of the installation disc’s root folder to a temporary folder on a local hard drive, then initiating the installation from this location. If this doesn’t work, a replacement disc may be required.
